Tiger Optics is the leading maker of advanced spectroscopic analyzers in our field, where we are known as much for the performance of our analyzers, as for the quality and service we provide. Our markets include Industrial, Specialty & Medical Gases, Petrochemical applications and more.
Our opening is for an experienced Service and Repair Manager for Advanced Analytical Equipment to support our growing installed base and manage our worldwide service and repair operations. We expect you to be culturally aware and an ace at written and verbal communication, as well as technically cogent.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop customer relationships, providing outstanding service and support
Support customer applications, providing technical expertise to determine appropriate solutions for their analytical needs
Management of in-house and field service personnel and daily activities
Installation and commissioning support, including on-site and remote repair assistance
Creation and maintenance of training presentations and service procedures
Training of customers and service representatives is an important part of the job. Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time, as required
3-5 years’ direct customer-facing experience, in a technical support, customer service or business development role
Passion for helping customers solve technical issues
Familiarity with analyzers and basic calibration equipment, with proven ability to troubleshoot and repair
Basic knowledge of industrial and high purity gases, and understanding of gas flow and pressure measurements
Strong communications skills, both oral and written
Willingness to travel
Experience with Salesforce.com and tracking service metrics is a plus
